Influence of water volume rate on effectiveness of late blight fungicides
Sporulating late blight on leaf
Reducing the water volume rate, in spite of adding Break Thu to the contact fungicide Shirlan, leads to minor effects against late blight and tends to result in reduced yields. Adding Break Thru to Acrobat Plus WG, a translaminar part-systemic late blight fungicide, reducing the water volume rate has a lesser influence on yield and fungicide effect of the product.

Development of late blight infestation in potatoes by use of Contact Fungicides
Development of late blight infestation in potatoes by use of Systemic Fungicides
General notes on use of fungicides
- water volume rate: 300 – 500l/ha
- nozzles with drift reduction
- time of spraying in dry and warm weather
- systemic fungicides in the morning
- contact fungicides in the morning and evening
